Victor Jung
Director of Real Estate CoreaVictor Jung is the full-time Director for REC (Real Estate Corea) of The European Union Chamber of Commerce in Korea which is the leading representative body for real estate investors in Korea. In this capacity he facilitates Korean institutional investors to deploy capital outside of Korea by organizing global conferences, exclusive academic forums, and arranging strategic business meetings with global investors. His role also includes attracting foreign capital to be invested in the Korean real estate market. He has been leading the restructuring and management of the Real Estate Corea since 2011. Previous to this job, he worked as a director for the global business department of the award winning frozen yogurt brand Red Mango in where he managed global business development and operations. Prior to this role, he worked for the Global Real Estate Investment Department at KB Asset Management in Seoul, Korea. He was specifically involved with investment execution, fund raising activities and day to day asset management operations for several global funds representing major Korean institutional investors. Victor Jung currently serves as the secretary of the Foreign Investment Policy Advisory Board of the Ministry of Land, Transportation and Maritime Affairs and is a certified commercial investment member (CCIM) by the United States CCIM Institute.
Frank Khoo
Co-ChairmanFrank was appointed Global Head of Asia for AXA REIM in 2008. He oversees all investment and asset management activities in the Asia Pacific region and is responsible for all Asian investment funds. Frank has more than 15 years direct experience in real estate investment and management. Prior to joining AXA REIM, he was with the Pacific Star Group, a boutique Pan Asian real estate investment house headquartered in Singapore, where he was instrumental in the launching of several funds. Before that, he spent substantial years in Guthrie GTS Ltd, a Singapore mainboard listed property company as Director of all overseas projects and was also President Director of PT Wisma Nusantara International and PT Guthrie Jaya Indah Resort, both real estate investment and development companies based in Indonesia. Frank was also executive director of PhileoLand Bhd, a real estate company listed on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange. He started off his training in corporate finance in Capitalcorp Securities Bhd, a listed stockbroking house in Malaysia specializing in mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts and initial public offerings. Frank holds a MBA (Accountancy) from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, a bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Queensland in Australia. He is also a qualified Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Singapore. Frank is also Co-Chairman, Real Estate Committee of the European Union Chamber of Commerce (EUCCK) in Korea.
Kwon Lee
Co-ChairmanMr. Kwon Lee is a real estate attorney at Kim & Chang's Real Estate and Construction Group, responsible for cross-border real estate transactions and is the current Co-Chairman of the European Union Chamber of Commerce in Korea, Real Estate Committee. Mr. Kwon Lee has extensive experience in a wide range of cross-border real estate transactions, including sale and acquisition of commercial buildings, logistics and warehouse, service center, factories, retail and large scale real estate development projects and provides advice on various legal, finance and tax structuring matters. Mr. Kwon Lee serves as an advisory committee member to a number of governmental organizations, including the Korea National Pension Service, Ministry of Culture, Sports & Tourism, Korea Tourism Board and Presidential Council on Nation Branding. Mr. Kwon Lee has been quoted as the leading real estate lawyer at various legal publications, including Chambers & Partners (Korea real estate section) Asia edition (2008 and 2009), a well known publication based in the United Kingdom.
